Q: What is the latest date to send in preregistration?

A. Preregistration must be in by September 4th 2010.

Q: On the registration form you requested estimated 5K & 10K finish times. Why is this important?

A. The race directors will be placing runners in “Corrals” based on estimated time. For example, the fastest runners will be placed in Corral 1 on the starting line. This is to ensure safety of all the runners and to facilitate a clean start. We ask all runners to cooperate and make certain they are in the correct corral assignments.

Q: Can you explain how the timing chip works?

A. The chip will be worn by each participant and will be monitored by the timing system. Your time will not start until you cross the pad at the startling line and will not end until you cross the pad at the finish line. So, in essence you do not need to be concerned if you are placed several corrals back off the start line.

Q: The race is on a public trail. Will the trail be open to the public Race Day?

A. Yes, the trail is operated by Queen Anne’s County Park’s & Recreation and will be open to all folks that day.
